The raw material of glass fiber is form JUSHI Chopped fibers which are bulk strands (parallel filaments bonded together) that have been cut to usual lengths from 1/8" to 1/2" (3.2 to 12.7 mm), or up to 2" (5 cm). Chopped fibers, when blended with resins, and sometimes other additives, is predominant reinforcement for numerous plastic compounds for compression, transfer and injection molding.
JUSHI Chopped Fibers provides customers with a global portfolio of chopped strands to achieve maximum performance in a variety of resin systems and fabrication processes. Chopped fibers are used mainly to reinforce thermoplastics and thermosets. Chopped fibers are made by chopping continuous dry or wet strands in 3-6 millimeter lengths depending on the type of strand. Other chopped lengths could be possible after consultation.
JUSHI Chopped fibers are used mainly to reinforce end-use applications such as automobile panels, under-the-hood applications, lawn and garden appliances, electrical equipment, headlamp settings and home appliances
